My goal is to provide exceptional care and results to men and women interested in plastic surgery. Our office at North Shore Cosmetic Surgery is uniquely designed to provide comfort, privacy and confidentiality for all our patients. Our staff has years of experience with all aspects of plastic surgery and will be available to address any concerns or questions that might arise before and after surgery.
I consider each patient a member of my growing family. Plastic surgery is a transformative event in your life and it would be my privilege to start the journey with you. About
Dr Low is a double board certified lastic surgeon specializing in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery on the face, breast and body. He is originally from Malaysia and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Bahasa Melayu.
He came to the United States at the age of 18 and went to Stony Brook University for both his undergraduate degree and medical school. He was awarded multiple academic achievement awards during his undergraduate years. He earned the prestigius title of valedictorian at Stony Brook University Class of 2004, underscoring his superior academic accomplishments.
He continued at Stony Brook University Medical center for his medical degree. His favorite subject in medical school was anatomy and he became a teaching assistant for the subject. Dr Low’s deep understanding of anatomy allows him to utilize that knowledge to help his patients realized their goals. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society, which honors the top graduates of his class of 2008.
He completed his general surgery training at New York University Medical Center under some of the best mentors in the field. He then went on to pursue his Plastic and Reconstructive training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashvills, TN. He trained under some of the brightest minds in plastic surgery, including Dr Bruce Shack, Dr Patrick Maxwell, Dr Jack Fisher amongst others. It was here that he was able to mold and further refined his techniques.
After completing his plastics surgery training at Vanderbilt, he was employed by Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he stayed for 6 years. During his tenure at Lehigh Valley, he taught his surgical knowledge and skills to his residents. He loves teaching and was awarded multiple teaching awards by his peers and residents. He is well published and had mentored his residents through a few publications at Lehigh Valley.
Dr Low returns to Long Island because he misses the area and its natural beauty. He enjoys cooking, golfing, fishing spending time with his wife and two children, trying out new restaurants and sampling different cuisines.
